The Second Meeting of the Committee of China International Foodstuff Trade Fair Has Been Held
The meeting for the preparation of 2008 China International Foodstuff Trade Fair was held in Huangpu Town Government Building on August 29. The deputy mayor of Zhongshan Mr. Feng Yurong, the deputy secretary-general of Zhongshan Mr. Huang Guiguang, and the secretary-general of Fair Committee and the town chief Mr. Fang Weiting attended the meeting.
The meeting was hosted by Mr. Fang. He made a report on the progress of the Fair preparation, the following proceedings, and the activity being arranged on the Fair. The previous Fairs held in Huang Town have attracted many investors, such as TaoDa Foods Ltd., Xiaolan Mooncakes Enterprise and Zhujiang Foods Company. Mr. Feng Yurong mentioned the continuous work for the coming Fair concerning the time efficiency and the work load, made the detailed deployment of it, and pointed out the importance of the Fair, i.e. It will be closely related to the coming Culture Festival in Zhongshan and China National Food Economy Conference.
The leaders from Economic Bureau, Health Bureau, Agricultural Bureau, Foreign Affairs Bureau, Technology Bureau and Customs expressed their views and suggestions for the fair on the meeting. They would provide assistance to and fully cooperate with Fair committee to achieve the ultimate success of the Fair.
